Golfpark Sint Nyk
Space and water in the Frisian countryside
Golfpark Sint Nyk lies near Legemeer, next to Sint Nicolaasga, in the open Frisian countryside with meadows, rows of trees and water. The course was designed by Alan Rijks and Paul Rolin and consists of two loops of nine holes, yellow and red, which together make an 18-hole round. Each loop can also be played on its own.
The yellow loop is a little more open and quieter, the red loop has long sight lines and somewhat more challenging holes, with doglegs along water and trees. The park is part of the Hollandsche Golfclub and has a brasserie, a driving range and buggies.
What this means for your round: on 13 of the 18 holes water lies within reach of the line of play. At 5,765 metres from the yellow tees and par 72 it is a full-length course; the hardest holes are the 4th (yellow) and the 15th (red).
