Golfpark De Loonsche Duynen
A links feel next to the Efteling
Golfpark De Loonsche Duynen lies on the south side of the Efteling theme park and has been in use since 1995. Until the end of 2020 the course was called Efteling Golfpark. Since 2021 the Hollandsche Golfclub has run it; the land and buildings still belong to the Efteling. The 18 holes were designed by the British architect Donald Steel, who combined a links character with parkland elements.
The front nine lies in a large nature area between the Loonse en Drunense Duinen and the Huis ter Heide estate: woodland, heath and sandy soil, with ponds, bunkers and strips of forest. Over 18 holes the course is par 72. In 2023 a 9-hole short-golf course designed by Bruno Steensels was added, for which hole 2 of the main course was moved.
